The Sudipto Sen-directed film depicting the recruitment of girls by the terrorist group Islamic State has created a massive political storm across the country. The film has been declared tax-free by the saffron party-ruled states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

The discussion about the recently released film ‘The Kerala Story’ is in full swing across the country. While the BJP is expressing its support for this film, some opposition parties are calling it propaganda. Amidst all this, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jitendra Awhad on Tuesday targeted the makers of the recently released film ‘The Kerala Story’ and demanded their public hanging. The NCP leader said that a state and its women were defamed in the name of “Kerala Story”. The official figure of three was estimated as high as 32,000. The person who made this fictitious film should be hanged publicly.

The Sudipto Sen-directed film depicting the recruitment of girls by the terrorist group Islamic State has created a massive political storm across the country. The film has been declared tax-free by the saffron party-ruled states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to the film at a rally in Bellary in election-bound Karnataka, saying it highlighted the consequences of terrorism in society. On the other hand, party president JP Nadda had seen the film at a special screening in Bengaluru. However, the West Bengal government banned the film in the state to ‘avoid inciting hatred and violence’, fueling the TMC-BJP war in the state.

BJP leader Tarun Chugh even called Mamta the Jinnah of modern times. He said that Mamta Banerjee obstructs every nationalist work in the country. Along with this, he said that he is Jinnah of modern times as he has a problem with India’s development and has objections to everything in the country. At the same time, BJP’s national vice-president Dilip Ghosh said that Mamta Banerjee does politics of divide and rule. Rohingyas and infiltrators come from Bangladesh, no action is taken on them.
